I dunno about this one. It looks like I might fall asleep while watching it.

Oh my goodness! Every single character looks so cute and adorable with their little fox ears. Is this Fox Spirit Matchmaker with shoujo-ai? Because I could be down for a show like that.

I don't think that there is going to be any fighting though. It kinda looks like an adorable Spirited Away!

Think of this as the hot spring episode from every anime. Just... you know.... everyone is working in kimonos, so this will probably touch on something culturally Japanese. Think like what Shouwa Genroku Rakugo Shinjuu and 3-gatsu no Lion have done so far. So if you are into that, this is for you.

Well then... for the lez- err...research! Yes! For research I must watch this show.

Konohanatei is a hot-spring hotel where fox girls work and are able to meet gods. Konohana Kitan is the heartwarming story of newbie Konohanatei hostess Yuzu and her friends.

The feelings of the hostesses are one. “No matter who or what they are, the customer is god.” Of course, even you, who have just appeared before them… Allow these hostesses to soothe your tired heart with their hospitality.

Three Episode Impression

Konohana Kitan has to be one of my favorite slice of life anime. Since we has been to Kyoto, we think it’s fun to see the different scenes in Konohana Kitan. Plus, the moe girls are so cute. Since I loved anime like Inari, Konkon, Koi Iroha, I find Konohana Kitan to be very similar to it in a lot of ways minus the drama elements. It feels a lot like Inari, Konkon, Koi Iroha and Noragami without any of the action and drama. It merely focuses on the lives of several spirit girls and what they do in the shrines of Kyoto. It’s a great slice of life anime of this anime season.
