What You Need to Know:
- What started out as a simple ad for a beverage in South Korea is rapidly becoming a popular topic in Japan. The video shows beatiful, fall scenery while a boy sees a pretty girl trying to take a selfie with her drink.
- Looking her up on Instagram via a hashtag for the drink, he makes contact with her while the beautiful fall scenery plays out around them, and a cute song plays throughout the video.
- Many Japanese people immediately thought of popular Kimi no Na Wa director Makoto Shinkai. They thought maybe he had a hand in the video, and even some Japanese people even mistook it for Japanese animation. The video is making it's rounds all over Japanese news, so what do you think? Is it a well done video or a pass?

Kimi no Na Wa? Isn't this just a ripoff?
I think you only can get it IF you actually go see Kimi no Na Wa.
Recent anime is made in Korean studios so it isn't surprising.
This cannot hold a candle to Makoto Shinkai.
Maybe the only comparison that you could make is that the beauty is similar to Makoto Shinkai's style.
I.... I don't mind this. It's not Makoto Shinkai and the art is not as good, but I still think it can stand on its own.
Hmm.... I guess I really just want to know what the drink is and what they are saying!
