Love Live! Sunshine!! Main Character Tamaki Chika [Voice Actress - Anju Inami]

- The saying, "You can't please them all" certainly rings loudly in this recent news, which revolves around Love Live! Sunshine!! and its most recent poster. For those who don't know, Tamaki Chika is a very popular character in the Love Live! community and was selected as the ambassador for Nishiura Mikan, a popular brand of mandarin orange in Numazu, Japan (this is also the main city for which Love Love! Sunshine!! is situated). Fans are aware that this is Chika's most sought after treat and so it came as no surprise that she'd be the poster girl in this case.
- The big surprise however is how a social community responded to said poster, which happened to portray Chika in a provocative way, and due to the massive complaints made by the social media community, LaLaport Numazu officially decided to avoid the heat and remove the promotional poster entirely from the location (as of Feb 16th).
- Anju Inami can be seen happily promoting the poster in the video above, but sadly not even her bright smile was able to overcome the power of social outrage. Numazu LaLaport has since released an official statement, confirming the removal but it is quite sad to see such a sweet franchise receive bitter feedback. Perhaps not everyone likes oranges..
