Yuu is a young boy who has the power to heal the hearts of monsters. When he was a child, he was given a mysterious bottle as a present from his father. When he touches the bottle, a liquid-form girl named Merc comes out. Due to Merc having no memories before meeting Yuu and wanting to know just what she is, the two set out on a journey together to travel to various countries. Together, the two set out on a comical fantasy as Yuu, an apprentice white mage who has a phobia of monsters and Merc, a girl stuffed in a bottle.

Yuu is a young boy blessed with the power to heal the hearts of monsters. Due to being powerless and afraid of monsters, he spends his average existence in a remote village. One day, he hears a request from Merc saying that she wants to know more about what she is, and so the two set out on a journey around the world. He starts to grow gradually as a white mage while on his journey and meeting various people and monsters.

Yuu’s father acquired the young girl Merc, from a hawker for 10 pieces of gold. At first, the bottle was just full of a liquid, but it eventually was a girl who was asleep in the bottle. Merc has no memories and wants to know just what she is. Her hobby is reading and sometimes due to that, she can get sucked into the worlds of the books. She loves cute things like rings.

Toto

Voice Actor: Yumiri Hanamori

Toto is an extremely rare monster that even traveling white mages do not know what it is. It has elastics skin and is interested in Merc. After a certain incident, Toto takes interest in Yuu and decides to travel with the two. It likes being on Yuu’s head.

Jamo

Voice Actor: Chou

Jamo is a merchant who is based in the kingdom, but is in every market across the world of Meftelhein. He has good connections with powerful warriors from every kingdom, and he hires Yuu and Merc as bodyguards while he travels.
