I feel like you are forgetting something but I will let it slide. It's good to see another anime like Bakuon or Long Riders come along. Speaking of, Sports anime seem to be on the rise lately.

Correct. This is also close to shows like Scorching Ping Pong Girls & Amanchu!, since the focus is not purely on the sport or activity, but rather the club and it's members.

Both of you are right. Of course I will be here for those inevitable panty shots that we will get. Ehehehehehe

Synopsis

Hiromi has moved from Nagasaki, a city with nothing but hills, to Kamakura. She heads to school on her bike, excited about her new life in Kamakura and her first day of high school. However, this is her first time going to school on a bike in quite a while, and she seems to be having some difficulties… That’s when she meets Tomoe and, through Tomoe’s instruction and joining the girls cycling club, Hiromi begins to change little by little.

Three Episode Impression

Another cycling anime, huh? Not really, since Minami Kamakura is more a Slice of a Life show featuring a group of high school girls than a sports anime. Don't watch it if you are an avid fan of cycling since the anime starts basically at point zero (with the main cast having to figure out what gears are and that you have to pedal in order to start moving - no joke). If, however, you are just looking for a cute show that allows you to follow anime girls around on their daily adventures, then you might find something in Minami Kamakura. On a more positive note, lots of energy was put into the artwork of the landscape and it makes you actually feel like you're in a rural area of Japan. To sum it up: cute Slice of Life show featuring high school girls? Yes. Actual cycling show with adrenaline-driven action? Not so much.
