- mipon.org, a website that spotlights anime-related locations and events as well as occasional interviews with anime creators, has shared an extensive interview with Hajime Musashino, author of Shakunetsu Kabaddi (Burning Kabaddi) in which they tackled details about the story, his inspiration, the lack of waifus, whther he plays Kabaddi himself, and lots more.
- Musashino-sensei was an assistant on Kengan Ashura, which he says was a great learning experience and, while not an inspiration per se, he learned how to draw cool, muscular anime characters like the guys in Burning Kabaddi. Likewise, his experience in Silver Paladin was crucial to developing his skills. Musashino-sensei also shares why Kabaddi was chosen for the manga, explains interesting tidbits of his life experience and personality that made it to the manga and anime, and his involvement in teh anime creation process.
