What You Need to Know:
- Bandai Namco Music Live Inc. (Head office: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; President: Yoshitaka Tao) has announced that Mirror Shibuya, an illustrated audio drama starring SZNO (pronounced “Suzuno”), will begin streaming on SZNO’s YouTube channel on March 21, 2026.
- SZNO is a multidimensional artist project operating in both the real and virtual realms, jointly developed by Bandai Namco Music Live Inc. and MusicRay’n. Mirror Shibuya will be a six-episode story depicting a series of strange occurrences in Shibuya. Viewers can further immerse themselves in SZNO’s world through the songs and videos released on her YouTube channel.
- The world and character concepts for SZNO were developed by a stellar lineup of creators, including Jin, the creator of Kagerou Project; Ritao (PHASE STUDIO), who contributed to KAF and Project SEKAI: Colorful Stage! feat. Hatsune Miku; and Seiji Mizushima, known for directing Mobile Suit Gundam 00.
- In the second teaser video, it was announced that voice actress Eriko Nakamura, known for her role as Haruka Amami in THE IDOLM@STER, will play the mysterious bat in Mirror Shibuya. Seven VTubers from the MEWLIVE production, operated by Bandai Namco Music Live, will also appear: Kotori Koiwai as BearTrice Kumano, Nozomi Suzuhara as Kurone Yousagi, Yuno Mihanada, Ririka Tsukimia, Miu Koneko, Roiro Yamiyori, and Nemumi Nukunuku.
- The project is planned as a new urban fantasy work combining music, subculture, and urban legends, centered on both real Shibuya and another Shibuya. Further updates will be announced on SZNO’s official social media and website.
“Hoshii” (SZNO’s 5th single), which is played in the 2nd teaser video, is now available on music streaming websites!

Story
Two Shibuyas: one of shadow, one of light. In the shadow, a sinister presence stirs, spreading fear and negative emotions among the people.

SZNO is a multidimensional artist project that operates in both the real and virtual realms. It was born from a collaboration between Bandai Namco Music Live, known for its Lantis label and expertise in producing music content like the Love Live! series, and MusicRay’n, a Sony Music Group company renowned for discovering and nurturing talent such as Sphere, TrySail, and CHiCO.

As new songs and story videos are released, the world of SZNO is gradually revealed.
Showcasing a range of styles with their debut single “xx,” second single “flag,” and third single “21g,” SZNO has captured attention, with the music videos for “xx” and “flag” each surpassing one million views. Their fourth single, “Mata ne,” is a ballad that wraps listeners in a bittersweet yet warm mood, carried by tender, compassionate, and crystal-clear vocals.
The accompanying official music video features SZNO appearing outdoors for the first time, contemporary dance elements, and connections to their first single, “xx,” making it a must-see.
