What You Need to Know:
- In our last moments in anime, we took a trip back in time to when Dragon Ball Z was really heating up. Cell became perfect and pretty much the entire world along with the Z-fighters were in for one hell of a ride. Well on this day May 17th, this marks the beginning of the Cell Games, the event that Cell created in order to truly test his newly acquired abilities after absorbing Android 18. Cell wasn't too interested in just fighting for the sake of fighting, he created the Cell Games primarily to see just who was strong enough to go up against him.
- It was all just a game to Cell, who really just wanted to boost his ego and of course get back at the Z-fighters for messing with his plans. For those who've watched this saga you'll know that it's one of the most exciting in the Dragon Ball Z series because of all the back-and-forth that took place between the fighters. Just when you think one character is down for the count another one shows up to try and put a stop to Cell's narcissistic ways. It was only Gohan however, that was able to really put an end to all of the annoyance, by sending Perfect Cell to the next dimension with the Father-Son Kamehameha. Still, this is one saga that you'll always remember because of how hype the battles were!
I still get shivers down my spine whenever I rewatch this entire battle.
Hands down my favorite saga over Frieza!
