- It has been announced that in celebration of the manga's 40th anniversary, police comedy series Kochira Katsushikaku Kameari Kouenmae Hashutsujo will be getting a new television anime.
- Also known as KochiKame, Osamu Akimoto's work first received an anime adaptation back in 1996, which spanned 373 episodes before ending in 2004.
- It is unclear yet whether the new anime will be a series or a special OVA, but we'll be back with more information once it's released!
