Odokawa is an eccentric character of few words. He leads an ordinary life as a taxi driver, driving throughout the city and trying to have as little involvement with others as possible. One day, however, he unexpectedly gets dragged into an incident involving a high school girl in Nerima Ward, Tokyo, who has gone missing. Not only that, but there have been disturbing testimonies from others around Odokawa.

The incident involves a huge sum of money in the hundreds of millions, a gang whose motives are unknown, an up-and-coming idol, and a charismatic college student. Various things are connected and as the situation becomes more and more chaotic, everything starts spinning out of control. Nevertheless, after a certain plan is executed, the situation comes together all at once. While the chain of events brought about a great deal of sadness and absurdity, the end was in sight...or so they thought.

After the incident, all the people involved testify. There’s another story behind the events everyone saw and they must find out what was really taking place. A new outline of the incident emerges after all the dots are connected.
