Odokawa is a taxi driver who lives an ordinary life. He’s a slightly eccentric oddball of few words who has no relatives and doesn’t really involve himself with others. His hobbies are listening to rakugo before going to bed and listening to the radio while driving people around town. The only people he can more or less call his “friends” are his doctor, Gouriki, and his classmate from high school, Kakibana.

It seems like he attracts nothing but quirky clientele. There’s Kabasawa, a hopeless college student hoping to go viral; Shirakawa, a nurse who’s hiding something; Homosapiens, a comedy duo that isn’t selling well; Dobu, the city hoodlum; and Mysterious Kiss, a rising idol group. The conversations Odokawa has with his clients shouldn’t amount to anything, but before long they end up being connected to the disappearance of a young girl.
