What You Need to Know:
- It seems like things are starting to get busy again as Scott Rosenberg (Con Air, Gone in 60 Seconds) and Jeff Pinkner (Venom) are collaborating to bring anime fans a live-action movie for the popular One Punch Man series. Sony Pictures will be the ones developing the film with Avi Arad and Ari Arad of Arad Productions producing the film. One Punch Man made its manga debut back in 2009 as a web comic and quickly catapulted its way to the top, grabbing the attention of Shueisha who then published it on Young Jump Next. Sony is quite excited to get this project started, as well as both Rosenberg and Pinkner, both of whom have a pretty strong track record when it comes to making blockbuster movies (Jumanji and Venom to name a couple).
- No other information has been divulged but we can be certain that sometime down the pipeline of 2020, we'll hear more about the project and will keep you all posted!
Definitely some exciting news for sure!
