Introduction
Miramar provides you with a wide open terrain where snipers can really take advantage of players who find themselves out in the wild. So it’s important to ensure that if you ever do intend to snipe anyone from afar, that you find a great spot that allows you cover. These are just a few spots that we’ve come across thus far in Miramar and be sure that we’ll be on the hunt for more, since this map is insanely big and there seems to be a plethora of spots to choose from. So without further delay let’s hop in!
Lighthouse Near Puerto Paradaiso
When we made the article about our favorite locations in Miramar thus far, Puerto Paradaiso came up on the list. The reason for that is it’s a relatively small resort which extends out into the ocean, and just up ahead are 3 smaller islands which can be used for hiding should the safe zone be in that particular area. One major plus behind these islands is the red and white Lighthouse which sits just atop the mountain, and provides players with a 360 view of pretty much the lower half of the map. If you have an 8x or 15x scope handy then perching yourself at the top of the Lighthouse will give you an incredibly strong advantage, and very high vantage point.
You can see into the city of Impala, snipe someone down in Puerto Paradaiso or take someone out who’s running around trying to find an escape vehicle. With so many options at your disposal, the Lighthouse is arguably a top 3 contender for best sniping location in Miramar.
Mountains Just Outside of Los Leones
Los Leones PUBG
Los Leones is Miramar’s largest area in terms of overall buildings and places to loot from, which makes it a highly lucrative area for anyone who likes to strike enemies down from afar. Once you’ve gathered all your precious belongings and run out of Los Leones, head down to the southernmost area and there should be one or two very large peaks just begging for your attention. You could climb to the very top and have a bird’s eye view of majority of the city, or you could just sit half way and watch for any enemies who are still wandering around. These are really strong spots because it’s one of the escape routes that players will take to leave the city, and it’s also an area that has a lot of car spawns around. Take advantage of that and you’re golden.
Power Grid Surrounding Area
Now here’s another gem that players who love long range tactics can take advantage of. The Power Grid sits atop a high rocky area and is situated right in the middle, which gives you sights on San Martin, Pecado, and Monte Nuevo to the east. You also have access to the main road should you need to grab a vehicle to escape with, so every option is covered. This surrounding area is great because it provides a lot of protection from incoming shots, due to there being a large number of big rocks lying around. So you can pretty much run around and pick out the best spot depending on where the safe zone is. Having all of that real estate to yourself is truly benefitting since anyone who tries to find your exact location will have trouble doing so. This place also has some great bunkers that carry some heavy weaponry!
You can just move from one side to the next, always mixing up your movement patterns to ensure you stay alive. So making sure to equip weapons like the Win94, SKS or anything strong mid-long range is going to keep you secure for most of the round.
Honey's Final Verdict:
This is just the tip of the iceberg for us in PUBG as far as Miramar goes, and we'll be on the hunt for more prime locations to pick players off from.
