- As announced during a livestream on their official YouTube channel, Pokapoka Ion will be releasing “Yajirushi→”, the OP theme of the TV anime Slow Loop, as a single on March 2, 2022.
- Nao Toyama and Kiyono Yasuno are also both members of the tactical music unit Walküre from Macross Delta. After performing together on a TV show in 2017, they hit it off and unofficially formed a unit in the hopes of one day singing as a duo. Now, five years later, the unit is official. Pokapoka Ion, which was formed under the concept of “soothing people’s hearts and delivering vitality ‘vitamins’ for tomorrow,” seeks to deliver comfortable pop tunes that warm people’s hearts (“pokapoka” in Japanese) and shower them with negative ions
- This single will be released in three formats: an Anime Edition, a Pokapoka Edition (Limited Edition A), and an Ion Edition (Limited Edition B). All editions will include “Yajirushi→”, the OP theme of Slow Loop, and “Boku no Takaramono”, an insert song from Restaurant to Another World 2. The Pokapoka Edition will come with a DVD containing the “Yajirushi→” music video and the Pokapoka Ion Kotatsu Party video. The CD will include “Tegami no Tou” as a coupling song. The Ion Edition will come with an extra CD containing a radio show titled Pokapoka Ion ga Moshi Radio Bangumi wo Mottara!? (What if Pokapoka Ion Had Their Own Radio Show!?) and “Mawari Michi” as a coupling song. The Anime Edition will feature a unique anime cover illustration.
