- This story from Kamikaze Douga (Amanatsu and Cocolors) and King Records (Hozuki's Coolheadedness, Utawarerumono:The False Faces, and Ajin: Demi-Human) is based on the cult web comic by Bukub Okawa and directed by Jun Aoki and Aoi Umeki. The series will start in the Winter 2018 season and will be available for streaming on HIDIVE, beginning in January 2018.

I always see these girls around in Japan flipping the bird, and I could never understand why. Now the story makes a little more sense to me.
Perhaps the negative connotation the middle finger has in the west doesn't really apply much in Japan. Maybe it's more of a comedic gesture?
