What You Need to Know:
- Today it was announced that children's puppet show, Ganko-chan will be tapped for an anime adaptation! The popular puppet show will be getting a five minute short anime that will begin airing January 23rd, 2017.
- The story follows Gen-kun as he lives in the future where humanity has destroyed the Earth by the year 2020. He is sent back in a time machine to Zawa Zawa Forest in ancient times where there is no electricity, no gas, and no running water. This comedy will explore how he tries to live in this ancient age with other creatures.
- As for staff Keiko Nemoto will be playing the role of Ganko-chan, Yumiko Kobayashi will be playing the role of Gen-kun, and Masako Nozawa (The voice of Goku from the Dragonball series) will be playing Kero and Game-chan.
