Twin brothers of the Takakura family, Kanba and Shoma, follow the orders of a mysterious penguin hat and search for the Penguindrum in order to save their fatally ill sister, Himari. A girl named Ringo Oginome believes in her own fate, and all of the events that she’s written down in her diary have come to pass. Wanting to make her own new destiny, Masako Natsume tries to get her hands on Ringo’s diary. And Keiju Tabuki and Yuri Tokikago try to accomplish their goal in order to bring back someone of great importance to them.

They continued to chase after the Penguindrum to alter their destinies and save their loved ones.

10 years have passed since then. Kanba and Shoma, who once boarded a fate-altering train, have come back for a while from the different paths their destinies led them to.
