What would happen if a boy and a girl scientist who are passionate about their research fell in love?

Ayame Himuro, a genius attending the school of science at Saitama University, confesses her feelings to her fellow researcher, Shinya Yukimura.

Of course, he cannot understand the logical basis for ‘love”! However, as a student of science and technology, he exclaims, “if we cannot prove the logical basis of this ‘love,’ then not only does love itself not exist, but science has failed!’

Clinging to this notion, the two of them drag in their fellow research team members in the pursuit of defining what ‘love’ means!

Ever since he was a little child, his intelligence has led to him being referred to as god’s child. He has to break down the process of worldly phenomenon or he cannot let things go.

She acts cool and calm at all times, which lets her mind be as sharp as ice. She has to break down the process of worldly phenomenon or he cannot let things go.

Kotonoha Kanade

Kotonoha is a fourth-year graduate information sciences research student at Saitama National University. She’s 22 and is the most conscientious person in the research lab. She also has the greatest amount of common knowledge. She often is the one who explains things and tends to see things from the reader’s perspective. Kotonoha ends up getting dragged around by the two oddballs, Ayame and Shinya in their experiment, but she always ends up going along with others said, but she’s actually a ruthless comedian on the inside.

Ena Ibarada

Ena is a second-year graduate sciences research student at Saitama National University. She’s 24 and is the only M2 in the Ikeda research lab. Ena is a real leader-type. She changes her mind often like a cat and does every single thing at her own pace. She never ever shows a single hint of motivation, and is more or less, always either sleeping on the couch or playing games. She’s actually got a vicious tongue and enjoys being mean. She often likes to gas everyone up and then watch them attack each other for her own amusement.

Kosuke Inukai

Kosuke is a fourth-year graduate information sciences student at Saitama National University. He’s 22 and ended up joining the research lab with Kotonoha at the same time. He looks like some sort of loud, flashy, blond delinquent, but he’s an overwhelmingly powerful 2-D otaku. He boasts of having almost 1000 women fall in love with him. However, his love for bishoujo 2-D characters is approximately 7.6 times more powerful than Ayame’s love for Shinya.

Kyouju Ikeda

Kyouju is the professor of the science research department at Saitama University, and he works in in mathematical and information sciences. He specializes in computer software research and is 49. He usually has a calm, gentle personality, but he has his moments where he forgets. Still, he isn’t that different from his students. He gets carried away the moment he becomes interested in something.

Rikekuma

Rikekuma is a very rude bear who explains scientific terms. He has a massive amount of knowledge and he himself is shrouded in mystery.
