What You Need to Know:
- Just in case you missed it, Gintama will be getting another live action movie! The first movie dropped last summer in July and went on to be a great success. Today, they have annouced that the second movie is not only confirmed to be coming, but will be coming this summer! August 17th, to be exact.
- Currently just titled "Gintama 2," the movie welcomes back Yuuichi Fukuda as director and scriptwriter, as well as Shun Oguri to play Gintoki. They have also announced that Jirou Satou will play a character as well.
- Filming is expected to start within this week or next and everything is being prepared currently for it. With the anime Gintama: Shirogane no Tamashii-Hen on air, the series created by Hideki Sorachi appears to have no plans of slowing down!
Yes! As long as Shun Oguri is in it, I know the series is set!
The first one was actually good. I can't wait for another!
