Ohhhh I remember now. This is like other anime about Sengoku Era etc. Think like Touken Ranbu, Sengoku Basara, Brave 10 etc. If you want the opposite, check out Oda Nobuna no Yabou.

White clouds in a blue sky… A peaceful day like any other.

Surrounded by light, someone calls out, “Please lend me your power.”

The next moment, you find yourself in Japan’s Sengoku Era (Warring States Period).

Vampires and werewolf samurai want to take over Japan.

This is the world known as Shinga.

Three Episode Impression

For those who love bishounen anime and reverse harem anime, you might have considered watching Sengoku Night Blood. At first, we thought this anime was going to be similar to Fushigi Yuugi since they were both rather similar in concept, but Sengoku Night Blood doesn’t live up to Fushigi Yuugi’s standard. As an isekai anime, we can say Sengoku Night Blood is better than Isekai wo Tomo ni Smartphone, but that’s not saying much. The premise is dry. It reminds us of watching Kamigami no Asobi where we get to see a little about each of the male characters, but it’s not nearly as exciting. As far as reverse harems go for this season, Sengoku Night Blood is extremely pretty, but like Handshakers, that prettiness doesn’t amount to plot.

Characters & Voice Actors List

Nobunaga Oda

Voice Actor: Toshiyuki Morikawa

An absolute dictator. With luck and skill, he lacks none of the effort needed to steal the right to rule the country. He can be cruel and inhumane, but he does not discriminate against people and is impartial enough to easily talk to those of low social status.

Hideyoshi Toyotomi

Voice Actor: Natsuki Hanae

With a unique worldly wisdom and skillful at the art of conversation, he’s excellent at getting around him to adore him. Because he was very poor when he was a young man, he has an intense desire to get ahead in life.

Kenshin Uesugi

Voice Actor: Kousuke Toriumi

He spent his childhood dedicated to Zen training at a temple, so he has a strong sense of duty and will not refuse anyone who asks him for help. He always keeps his cool and is very collected, but he becomes annoying if he gets in a bad mood.

Shingen Takeda

Voice Actor: Katsuyuki Konishi

A man who is loved by his retainers and the citizens, everyone admits he is skilled and would let him into their group. While he is a great hero who is savage in battle, he’s also a smart samurai who makes sure to gather enough intel and is obsessed with only starting battles he can’t lose.

Yukimura Sanada

Voice Actor: Daiki Yamashita

Meek and gentle, he rarely gets angry, but when it comes to battle he becomes ferocious and is very skilled. Because he’s forever cheerful and doesn’t play favourites, he’s loved by everyone. He’s got a manly side that every man looks up to, and is tolerant of others.

Masamune Date

Voice Actor: Yuuichirou Umehara

A one-eyed maverick who’s full of pride. He’s quite contrary and can’t quite seem to be honest with himself. In battle, he stirs things up with his clever schemes and throws his enemies into chaos.
