- Sentai Filmworks announced today that it has acquired exclusive rights to Kase-san and Morning Glories, an anime adaptation of the manga series by Hiromi Takashima, for distribution in USA, Canada, UK, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, Latin America, Scandinavia, the Netherlands, Spain and Portugal.
- The OVA special stars Minami Takahashi (Food Wars!, FLIP FLAPPERS, Log Horizon) as Yui Yamada and Ayane Sakura (BanG Dream! S2, Non Non Biyori, My Hero Academia) as Tomoka Kase. The special is directed by Takuya Satou (Strawberry Marshmallow, STEINS;GATE, Girls Beyond the Wasteland) and produced by studio Zexcs (Diabolik Lovers, Frame Arms Girl, Say “I Love You”). The manga series from which the special is adapted has garnered overwhelmingly positive reader reviews and critical feedback for its authentic voice and the evocative depiction of its protagonists.

Synopsis
