What You Need to Know:
- It has come out that tentatively-planned anime Shikizakura's director Shinya Sugai will release a short anime movie in July. Sugai has worked on the CG for PSYCHO-PASS: Sinners of the System, Eden of the East, and Shingeki no Bahamut GENESIS, and this will be his official debut as a director.
- The movie is titled "Walking Meat" is tells the story of a world where humans are able to eat zombies. When four new company employees show up for training, things go wrong and suddenly the zombies they should be hunting are able to hunt the humans. The movie is only 20 minutes in length and it will debut July 19th.
- Studio Sumblimation will be in charge of animating the series, Mitsukasa Kanda will handle character design, and Maaya Uchida, Fukushi Ochiai, Minami Tsuda, Kenjirou Tsuda, and Yuuko Sanpei have all been confirmed to be voicing characters. Check out the 90-second trailer below!
The art isn't the greatest, but I like the twist on the original zombie movie.
I'll definitely check this one out.
