The first year of high school, spring.

Kumiko Oumae goes to observe the high school wind instrument club, which she also joined in middle school, with her classmates Hazuki Kato and Sapphire Kawashima. There, she sees Reina Kousaka, a former classmate. Although Hazuki and Sapphire decide to join the club, Kumiko can’t bring herself to - she can’t help but remember the concert in middle school, and what happened between her and Reina. This is a story of youth, of girls giving everything they’ve got, and the irreplaceable things they find through their club activities.

Enters Kitauji high school because she wants to wear a sailor uniform. She doesn’t have any particular passions, but continues to play the euphonium. She’s easily swayed and has a habit of saying what she thinks. She’s concerned about what she said to Reina at the concert in middle school.

Hazuki Katou

Kumiko’s classmate. She was in the tennis club in middle school and is new to music. She joined the club because she dreamt of playing the trumpet, but ended up playing the tuba. She has a bright and cheerful personality and is quick to act, so she has a lot of influence over the mood of the group.

Sapphire Kawashima

Voice Actor: Moe Toyota

Kumiko’s classmate. She went to a famous elite middle school, where she played the contrabass. She enjoyed playing music so much she enters the high school wind instrument club. She has a positive personality, but has a complex about her name.

Reina Kousaka

Voice Actor: Chika Anzai

She came from the same middle school as Kumiko. Under the influence of her father, a professional musician, she’s been playing the trumpet since she was young and still plays now in high school. She is cool and stoic.
