What You Need to Know:
- One weeks ago, we brought you news of a collaboration between Sayo Yamamoto, Mitsurou Kubo, and MAPPA titled Yuri!!! on ICE - about male figure skaters.
- Now, the anime's official website has updated with loads of new information! Firstly, it's been revealed that Tadashi Hiramatsu (Parasyte) will be in charge of character design. Saya Yamamoto will be in charge os series composition as well as dierction, and Mitsurou Kubo is on original character design and orginal script.
- As for the characters and cast, Toshiyuki Toyonaga (Mikado Ryuugamine from Durarara!!) will be playing protagonist Yuri Shousei, Junichi Suwabe (Daiki Aomine from Kuroko no Basket) will be playing Victor Nikiforov, and Kouki Uchiyama (Kei Tsukishima from Haikyuu!!) will be playing Yuuri Plisetsky.

You can really tell Hiramatsu is the character designer in this PV! But how come two of the main characters are called Yuri?
