What You Need to Know:
- David Production announced today that they are working on a 2021 release of an anime adaptation of the Spriggan (Striker) manga by Hiroshi Takashige and Ryōji Minagawa.
- A key visual and staff were also revealed. Hiroshi Kobayashi (Kill la Kill, Little Witch Academia episode director) is directing, while compsition and screenplay will be handled by Hiroshi Seko (Attack on Titan, Jujutsu Kaisen), with character design will fall under Shuuhei Handa (Darling in the Franxx, Little Witch Academia) is the character designer.
- The anime version of Spriggan is set to be released on Netflix worldwide.
- Spriggan Story: Many years after an advanced ancient civilization was destroyed by their own misuse of their technology, they left messages in Hebrew about their creations, stating that if no good use could come of them, they should be destroyed. Armies and military forces from all over the globe set out to find these "artifacts" for their own benefit, and so the ARCAM Corporation and their military branch, the ARCAM Private Army, are the only ones who can stop humanity from destroying itself by using special soldiers known as Spriggans (Strikers).
