Yoshika is a strong witch with the power to heal people. Mio invited her to join 501st. She has proven her worth through the successful liberation of Gaul and Venice, but lost her powers mid-fight. After returning home, she decided to study abroad at a medical school in Helvetia and thus returns to Europe. On her way there she gets attacked by the Neuroi and almost loses her life but manages to survive, with serious injuries. Her magical abilities miraculously return and she manages to just barely escape death.

Mio is a former witch with a magical eye, and has battled Neuroi for eight years with her Fuso katana. Even now that she has lost her magic she’s still in the army and supporting her comrades.

Lynette joined 501st as a new witch. She’s a weak-spirited and loner girl who had a hard time blending in with all the veterans around her. But, later she became best friends with Yoshika who joined after she did, and together they are trying to grow and become stronger.

Perrine is a witch who is also the current head of the influential Closertmenn family. She lives in Pas-de-Calais by the shore of the Strait of Dover. She's very stubborn and overly serious and, maybe because of her family name, might act stuck up every now and then.

When in the naval academy, Mio Sakamoto mentored Sizuka and she was later picked as a witch cadet. As Yoshika decided to study in Helvetia, Sizuka was told to escort her to the school. Sizuka’s family have all worked in the military, but she lost her father early and since has put it upon herself to be the one to support the family.

Minna is an ace witch who serves as the commanding officer in 501st. She originally wanted to become a singer, but as the neuroi attacked she joined the army instead. She has escaped death many times and those experiences led her to suggest the creation of the 501st United Air Strike team to top management.

Gertrud is considered to be an ace witch and has been a core member of 501st ever since its creation. She has the magical power to increase one’s physical abilities and she excels as increasing one’s muscle strength. She’s a stubborn person who lives exactly according to the rules. She always values reason, but inside she’s very passionate and sometimes it will even show.

Erica has shot down the most Neuroi in the world, and is considered an ultra ace witch. Her magical ability is that of manipulating the atmosphere, and through that and her genius intuition and ability to calmly judge a situation, she has managed to set this record. She’s a core member of 501st, just like Gertrud, but when it comes to their daily life she’s completely different. She’s very sloppy and is careless to minor details. If she has any free time, she spends it by sleeping.

Francesca is a witch with the power of concentrating energy and making it burst. At 10 years old she was recruited by the military for her abilities and is considered to be a miracle girl. Her personality is similar to that of a cat and she has no interest in working with other people. In the military they consider her a problem child and thus, to get rid of the problem they put her in 501st. However, upon meeting Charlotte and everyone else Francesca starts to change.

Charlotte is a witch with the magic of speed. She’s really beautiful and is thus sometimes called “Glamorous Shirley”. Before joining the military she was into motorcycle racing and managed to become the fastest racer in the world. Next, she hopes to break the sound barrier and set another record.

Sanya has the magical ability to read signals invisible to the naked eye. She normally works night shifts and is thus referred to as a night witch. She used to live in Vienna with her family where she studied music, but as Neuroi attacked she decided to become a witch.

Eila is a witch with the magic of predicting the future, which helps her avoid attacks. She has always come back from a battle and is thus referred to as an ace witch. She’s slightly shy but is actually quite a cheerful and energetic person. She’s good at taking care of people.
