In preparation for the 2020 Olympics, Japan has established the WFCO or World Food-culture Organization. Through this, they plan to protect and promote local cuisine around the world. There is a special branch though, the 9th division that is sent internationally to patrol the serving of Japanese food throughout the world and to prosecute those who do not follow the rules. Traveling through countries like the U.S., Russia, China, and France, they will use any tactic necessary to stop bad food. Soon they become one of the most despised enforcing bodies around the world.

Characters & Voice Actors List

Voice Actor: Akira Yamashita

Honda is the sushi police captain of the 9th division of the WFCO. He has the superhuman ability to hear the voice of sushi. He is solely concerned with fixing unauthentic sushi. He is the most athletic out of all the other officers.

Voice Actor: Ifumasaka

Suzuki is very intelligent and is the head of weapons analysis and development. He’s a bit of a pushover and tends to think that he’s jinxed because he finds himself in trouble often.

Voice Actor: Hiromitsu Okamoto

Kawasaki is actually an android that is equipped with very powerful weapons like a bazooka and rotary cannon. The blowback from his weapon causes him to fall down. However, the only noise he makes is the sound of a soda can falling. Why? Because he is actually extremely lightweight.

Voice Actor: Yumi Kikuchi

Sarah is a food reporter who is obsessed with Japanese culture. She finds the Sushi police to be her nemeses, and she is very strong-willed. The relationship between Sarah and the Sushi Police will change as the story goes on.
