What You Need to Know:
- The official website for the Taishou Otome Otogibanashi (Taisho Maiden Fairytale) anime released the first promotional video for the series, which will premiere in the Fall 2021 anime season.
- The anime's website also revealed the first key visual, new voice cast, and staff for the series. Yuusuke Kobayashi will play Tamahiko Shima and Saya Aizawa will voice Yuzuki Tachibana.
- Jun Hatori will direct the anime, while Synergy SP will handle anime production. Yasuharu Takanashi will be in charge of the anime's soundtrack, Mayu Watanabe will be in charge of the anime character design, and Hiroko Fukuda will handle anime composition.
- Taishou Otome Otogibanashi takes place in the Taisho era in Japan and centers on Tamahiko Shima, a young man who lost the use of his right hand in an accident and who now lives in a rural area in Chiba prefecture taking care of his health. One day, he meets the naive and devoted Yuzuki, whom Tamahiko's father bought to be Tamahiko's wife. Through this meeting, the pessimistic and withdrawn Tamahiko begins to change.
- The manga Taishou Otome Otogibanashi is written and illustrated by Sana Kirioka and was published for the first time in Shueisha's Jump Square magazine in 2015. The last compiled volume of the manga was published in October of 2017.
