What You Need to Know:
- It has just been announced that there is an anime adaptation in the works for Tales of Zestiria, the 2015 installment of the Tales of role-playing video game series.
- The official title will be Tales of Zestiria the Cross, with the "cross" stylised as an "X" (think Project X Zone). It will air at some point during 2016.
- Further details have yet to be revealed, including the studio involved. However, as ufotable was the studio to handle the game's animation, it is likely that they will also produce the anime.
- Of concern is who will voice Lailah, one of the characters in the game, who was voiced by Miyu Matsuki. Matsuki passed away on October 27th, 2015 after battling lymphoma.

What'll happen with Lailah?
I'm wondering about Lailah too... Maybe they can somehow make it work with the existing recordings?
It's really unfortunate about Matsuki. She was even supposed to voice a character in Hundred.
Yeah. I do hope they handle it well. But let's just focus on how awesome it would be if ufotable indeed works on this!
