What You Need to Know:
- In what has been a very uneventful 2020 so far for the anime world, fans are growing concerned about the future state of the anime seasons moving forward this year. Major events have been cancelled, and companies are still announcing delays not only for this season but for summer too. The COVID-19 situation has definitely caused a lot of headaches and the most current delays are just another nail in the coffin.
- Appare Ranman, the one anime that many are comparing to the classic, Samurai Champloo, had its episodes delayed until further notice. The Millionaire Detective – Balance: UNLIMITED (Fugou Keiji: Balance:Unlimited) has been delayed, along with the recent announcement of Food Wars! Season 5, along with Diary of Our Days at the Breakwater (Houkago Teibou Nisshi).
- The spring 2020 anime season as you can see is taking a nosedive and one can only assume that this trend may very well continue for some time, given that no changes have been made regarding the COVID-19 situation, and whether the virus will slow down. We'll keep you all updated on this as time passes but for now, there are still anime for you to check out on the spring list, but that list has definitely taken a huge cut. What are your thoughts on this?
