What You Need to Know:
- Award-winning international games label Team17 and developer Mouldy Toof have released a brand new multiplayer trailer for The Escapists 2, the follow up to their award-winning prison-escape game. Fans of the original will be pleased to know that there are many new changes which have been implemented into the upcoming title, and they'll be unveiled soon!
- A lot of passionate fans have been asking for a multiplayer feature in The Escapists for quite some time, and now Team17 and Mouldy Toof have listened. Budding Escapists will be able to take part in both co-op and versus multiplayer modes, playing either locally or online, for up to four players.
- Drop-in, drop-out multiplayer capability allows you to carefully plan and execute an intricate escape from your initial incarceration with your fellow inmates either online or locally, or simply hop into an existing game already in progress to help pull off the final touches of the escape! Work together to ensure your escape is well orchestrated, crafting the right tools and using them to your advantage. The Escapists 2 will be coming to Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch™ and PC later this year.

The original was so fun and now with the multiplayer option added in the second, oh man it's going to be nuts!
Sadly I've yet to play The Escapists, but I'll take your word for it since you're the gamer of the bunch.
