Synopsis

Long ago...

Many different kinds of races inhabited the Earth alongside humans including elves, dwarves, vampires, homunculi, and more...

At the top of this endless power hierarchy, were dragons. However, a long time passed and dragons simply disappeared. The remaining races chose coexistence. As time went on, everyone essentially began to look like humans.

2X19, Tokyo.

This was thought of as the peaceful era, however it was not as if there weren’t crimes. In adoration of the dragons of old, ‘Nine’ became a criminal organization which commits excessively horrible crimes in search of the dragon’s power. Their plan is to commit horrible crimes and change the current world.

In order to oppose Nine, a special resistance team made up of experts was created by the police department. Nicknamed ‘Tokunana’, this team is made up of highly qualified individuals that stand above their peers, but at the same time, they are rumored to be a group of strays and good-for-nothings. Then one day, a new member named Seiji Nanatsuki is assigned to the unit. While being constantly teased and messed with by the members of the unit, Seiji continues to tackle solving cases with his inherent brightness and straightforwardness. Can he find the justice that he believes in as he continues to handle difficult cases?

Characters & Voice Actors List

Seiji Nanatsuki

Voice Actor: Hiroo Shimono

Seiji is a newly-appointed detective, assigned to Tokunana. When he was in middle school, a police officer saved his life, and that became the impetus for him to become a police officer himself. While overflowing with a strong sense of justice, he follows his instinct and charges forward, but he isn’t the best when it comes to thinking about things. He has excellent reflexes, endurance, and stamina, and is good at close combat. If Shiori tells him to jump, he says how high.

Shiori Ichinose

Voice Actor: Kenjirou Tsuda

Shiroi is the current leader of Tokunana. He’s lost the will to work, with his nonchalant replies to everything, no one ever has a clue as to what he is thinking. Whether or not it is because he lost a partner in the past, he does care deeply for his colleagues and they oddly trust him. His IQ is over 150. He has a unique eye as a police officer and he won’t overlook even the smallest oddities. Unlike Seiji, he has no physical strength and hates work involving physical labor.

Kujaku Nijo

Voice Actor: Tatsuo Suzuki

Kujaku is the information analyst of Tokunana. Even though he is close in age to Seiji, he is ordinarily the quiet, relaxed one. Among the members of Tokunana, he is the one who keeps his distance from others and will not reveal anything about himself beyond what is necessary. He has a single connection to an informant, and he is able to calmly analyze the information gathered and help Tokuana in their investigations.

Akane Shikisai

Voice Actor: Yuuko Kaida

Akane is in charge of physical combat for Tokunana. She has a gentle personality, but she carries a sword that she relies on heavily and boasts of her overwhelming power in close combat.

Cinq Bellemer

Voice Actor: Ari Ozawa

Cinq is the mechanic for Tokunana. Making use of any sort of machine, she backs up the members of tokuana. She may look like a little girl, but she’s smart, swiftly responds to Shiori’s orders, and is excellent at support.

Rokusuke Endo

Voice Actor: Nobunaga Shimazaki

Rokusuke is the fighting specialist of Tokunana. A gun genius, he is excellent at both close and far combat. With years of experience, no matter the incident, he always looks composed.

Zeroemon Kiryuin Sakon

Voice Actor: Toshiyuki Morikawa

Zeroemon is the boss of Tokunana and the founder as well. He freely gives code names to the members of Tokunana and is a reckless old man.
