10. Rem from Death Note

Death Notes are the tool used by Shinigami to kill humans and extend their lifespan. By possessing the Death Note, Light comes into contact with many Shinigami, including the female Shinigami, Rem.

Rem generally views humans with disdain but is also shown to have a deep fondness for another human death owner, Misa. Rem's main hair color is a white very similar to the rest of her body. The tips of her hair is a light purple, which matches purple markings on her face.


9. Yozuru Kagenui from Nisemonogatari

The Bakemonogatari series tells the story of Koyomi Araragi, a high school student who survives an attack from a vampire. In Nisemonogatari, Yozuru's interest in Koyomi's sisters causes her to enter Koyomi's sphere of supernatural acquaintances.

Yozuru is a famous exorcist who is respected by many connected to the supernatural. She mercilessly tries to get rid of spiritual oddities because it's what she defines as "justice." She wears her red-streaked black hair in a bob cut, which matches her composed, yet sadistic nature.

Dirty Pair Flash may feature a Kei from alternate dimensions, but deep down, she's the same Kei. Both are fierce, impulsive, and quick to act, preferring to "shoot first, and ask questions later." Really, the difference is in the cosmetics: Dirty Flash's Kei is a natural redhead but has dyed her hair bangs blonde. To go along with her bright personality, Nia has short curly blue and blonde hair. As Simon's love interest and, after the timeskip, a crucial character to the story, Nia is definitely an unforgettable character.

Amelia is a headstrong, assertive, and determined Pandora. During her testing with a new combat drug, Mark III, Amelia nearly lost her life. Before testing the drug, Amelia had a full head of crimson hair. The drug, however, drained the color from most of her hair, leaving her with her signature white hair and crimson colored bangs. Amelia's hair consists of two non-conventional hair colors, but that doesn't stop her from being an awesome character.

Panty and Stocking are two angels who were kicked out of Heaven for bad behavior. They are exiled to Daten City, a place located between Heaven and Hell and home to vengeful spirits called ghosts. Stocking is the younger and more subdued of the two sisters. The duo did get kicked out of Heaven for bad behavior, so surely Stocking isn't the angel (no pun intended) that she appears to be. Stocking is often seen eating sweets and represents the deadly sin Gluttony. Her love of sweets pairs well with her gothic lolita outfit, which, in turn, suits her long navy blue and pink hair. Don't let the lolita look and plush toy fool you, though, Stocking has been shown to have a masochistic streak, being into bondage, vore, and electrocution.


4. Nico Niiyama from Kiznaiver

Katsuhira Agata is a fairly emotionless and indifferent teenage boy. His indifference stems from his inability to feel any sort of pain at all. Along with six other people, he is forced to join the Kiznaiver Program, which connects all seven Kiznaivers' through shared pain. When one Kiznaiver gets hurt, the others they are connected to feel the same pain. One of these Kiznaivers' connected to Katsuhira is Nico Niiyama, the daughter of a very wealthy family. Hoping the avoid the stigma of being rich, Nico embraces her eccentricities. Even before commenting on her hair, known for her belief in fairies, Nico is a very colorful individual.

Nico's hair is styled in good old classic pigtails. Her hair is orange with teal streaks. Due to the curls in her pigtails, the teal and orange spiral around each other. The interesting combination of colors, combined with her, albeit forced, bubbly personality make sure that Nico is a character to remember.


3. Shura Kirigakure from Blue Exorcist (Ao no Exorcist)

Blue Exorcist is the story of Rin Okumura, the half-human son of Satan. After the death of his adoptive father and guardian, Shiro Fujimoto, Rin takes up training at True Cross Academy, a school for exorcists, hoping to, one day, become an exorcist strong enough to defeat Satan.

Shura Kirigakure works as an Inspector for the Vatican and is one of Rin's mentors at True Cross Academy. Shura is a very easy going character but is also known to be very blunt and fearless. Her long pink hair has yellow ends. Rin may be able to use Blue Flames of Satan, but it doesn't quite compare to his mentor Shura fiery personality and matching hair.

In the eleventh year of the Meiji era, the government made it a forbidden act to carry around a sword. Many samurai were unhappy with this decree and, as a result, the crime rate rose as many samurai rebelled. To quell the growing unrest, an inescapable lake prison was created. Soramaru and his two brothers are tasked with ferrying the criminals to the prison.

Of course, where there are samurai, there are ninja. In one of these ninja clans, the Fuuma Clan, in order to become an official Fuuma ninja, you must kill someone very close to you. In doing so, your eyes turn violet and your hair becomes pure white. Nishiki, however, ran away in the middle of a ritual, and became a "half-baked."

As a half baked, half of her body carries the distinct features of a Fuuma: the white hair and violet eyes. The other half, however, maintains her appearance before attempting the ritual. As a result, Nishiki has perhaps the most interesting and unique bicolor hair, a perfect 50-50 divide of black and white hair.

Ryuuko Matoi is loner, wandering around looking for her father's killer. Her search leads her to Honnouji Academy, an illustrious school with an intense hierarchy system. The top students receive special uniforms that gives the wearer special abilities. Although she is far from a top student, Ryuuko has her own very unique uniform, which she dons to take on the school's Elite Four and challenge Satsuki Kiryuuin, the student council president, to learn the identity of her father's killer. From her attitude, down to her appearance, Ryuuko stands out as a clear outsider.

Ryuuko sports black hair with a single red highlight on her bangs. It's a simple touch, but it works so wonderfully. Ryuuko's single streak of red is so distinct that it stands out much more than if she had a collection of streaks. When Ryuuko uses Life Fiber Synchronization with Senketsu, her hair feathers out and she gains additional red undertones in her hair.

As if gaining red undertones in her hair wasn't enough. When Ryuuko activates Senketsu Kisaragi, the ultimate form of her Synchronization with Senketsu her hair changes completely. In this form, her hair has a strong gradient from yellow to red. Just like with Senketsu's many forms, Ryuuko's Senketsu Kisaragi perfectly matches her hair.
