As the Saint of Gunpowder, Fremy Speeddraw is a powerful gunslinger and a girl of high caliber (corny joke, I know). Fremy is indeed unique; she’s the only half-human/half-Kyouma in the world as the result of an experiment. As such, she was used by the Kyouma army to assassinate some really powerful saints and warriors.

In her desperate attempts to prove her worth as a Kyouma, Fremy obeyed Tgurneu’s every order. Her deadly skills earned her certain reputation and the title of the “six flower’s killer”. This cutie with an eye patch demands fear and respect, and she certainly deserves a spot on our list for that. Fremy Speeddraw is the bomb! (yup, I did it again)

This summer season’s favorite goth loli could be no other than Rory Mercury. She is a demigoddess and an apostle of the god of death, Emroy. Rory looks like a pretty 13 year-older when she is in fact 961 years old, but hey, it gets weirder. She becomes sexually aroused by killing people or having people dying near her. I’m just not so sure how to feel about that. Is it sexy? Creepy? Both perhaps?

Loli looks and sexual tastes aside, Rory is a fantastic warrior, who fights for justice swinging around her humongous halberd. This huge purple axe is incredibly heavy; however, Rory’s strength and skill make handling it look like a walk in the park. Rory Mercury is so dark and special that we had to make some room for her on this list.

Albedo is one demonic beauty we would all love to have as our right hand. It is revealed in Overlord that she used to be hard to deal with in the past. However, after Momonga altered her personality settings, she became quite docile, caring and in love with her master. This sexy she-devil is completely head over heels for Momonga and often flirts with him. She even has a body-sized pillow of Momonga!

Anyway, she’s more than just a hot devil with a strong sexual appetite. Albedo is the highest rank guardian in the Tomb of Nazarick and the one in charge of the general security of the castle. Her power rivals with that of Momonga himself, so she’s not an ordinary NPC. She’s a loyal and powerful ally to the ruler of Nazarick, as well as the #8 female character on our list.

Miia is one sexy snake girl I wouldn’t mind having tangled around me and squeezing my guts out. She’s a Lamia (half human/half snake) and a subject to the Cultural Exchange between Species Bill. She lands in Kurusu’s home (and in our hearts) by mistake as part of this exchange project.

Kurusu is forced by the authorities to take care of Miia and make her happy, so she quickly falls in love with him. Miia loves to flirt with Kurusu and to harass him. Too bad he can’t mingle with her, for both legal and physiological reasons, clearly. He does give her pleasure though (even if not on purpose) by rubbing her tail to the point of making her scream in delight.

Miia is the kind of monster we would actually want to find under our bed (or in it). We’ll have to settle with having her on this selection.

Another hottie, Alex Benedetto is a former prostitute and now the secretary of the Benriya. She has at least two huge reasons to be on our list; her kindness and her courage (keep your mind out of the gutter). She is really quiet but deep down she has a strong personality.

Alex is a caring young woman, who’s always trying to help other people even at the risk of her own physical integrity. She often acts as an older sister, comforting or protecting the people she cares about. Alex Benedetto is one of our top females of the summer for the big heart underneath her chest… her equally big chest.

I bet we were all quite shocked when we realized the vice president of the student council, Ayame Kajou, was the terrorist known as Blue Snow. As the founding member of SOX, Ayame declared war on moral standards. She defies the Peace Makers and is always looking for new ways to spread immorality.

As a student she blends in perfectly fine as a respected member of the student council in the high school with the highest moral standard, the Tokioka Academy. As her alter ego, Blue Snow, she prances around in a robe with nothing underneath, often getting naked in public. The degree of perversity and wickedness on this dirty girl make her one of our summer favorites!

Usually referred to as “the one with the shovel”, Kurumi is one fierce loli girl. As one of the members of the School Living Club, Kurumi often acts as the big sister, mostly out of her dignified and mature nature. She is also really brave since she dares to go by herself on dangerous patrolling missions. Although, she can be quite reckless, often jeopardizing her own safety in vain.

Kurumi is a natural leader (after the outbreak at least) and she takes good care of the rest of the girls, keeping calm even in the most thrilling situations. For someone so centered and who takes things so seriously, she is surprisingly smiley and cheerful. Especially if we considered the nightmare she lived on the day of the outbreak. Poor Kurumi, having to kill your beloved one must not be easy.

As the student council president of Hoshinoumi Academy, Nao Tomori is one gifted child. She is rather girly and immature, which is why she loves to be noticed. She can be short-tempered and quite vain, but she makes up with hard work and her brains.

Ironically, even though she likes to be recognized and noticed, her special ability is a form of invisibility. What she actually does is disappear from a person’s sight field.

Nao is often seen carrying around a camera, which she uses to record other gifted children like herself. She used this proof to blackmail Yu Otosaka into joining Hoshinoumi Academy. What a cunning little fox she is.

Himouto! Umaru-chan was definitely my guilty pleasure of the summer season. And let’s face it, the show itself is not all that great, there’s pretty much no story and the supporting characters are nothing out of the ordinary. The reason why this show earned a place at the top of this summer rankings is because of Umaru’s extreme level of adorableness. This show just hits you hard in your kawaii sense.

Umaru is maybe not the most well developed character ever, but her lazy, spoiled brat behavior combined with her irresistible cuteness are as effective as can possibly be. Sometimes she makes you want to kill her for being such a spoon-fed baby, but you can only be mad at her for like a second. She is THAT cute! And funny as hell too, that’s why she deserves the #2 spot on our list.

We’ll finish with a beauty from my favorite Anime of this summer season, Prison School. There are several great things about this show, one of them being the female cast. From Chiyo-chan to the Vice President, we can find very different female characters on this show, each as unique as the rest. For many of us however, the shy beauty Hana Midorikawa is an absolute delight that stands out from the rest.

She may not be as voluptuous as the Vice President, as refined as the President or as nice as Chiyo, but she has one hell of a personality. If any of the boys even dares to take her lightly, they will end up smashed against a wall and bleeding out their skulls. Still, what I love so much about her though are those epic moments (mostly around Kiyoshi) in which she shows her shy and girly nature.

All those scenes involving Hana and Kiyoshi just crack me up. Everytime she intends to get back at Kiyoshi, the situation goes up a level of awkwardness. Poor Hana, she just keeps getting more and more disgraced.
