Honey’s Highlights

Try-Knights-300x450 Try Knights Gets Honey's Highlights!
You know, I'm not a fan of sports anime, but in this case, I'm giving Try Knights a chance...
Try-Knights-300x450 Try Knights Gets Honey's Highlights!
Yeah, even if this is obviously about rugby, it's one of those shows that are more focused on the characters than the sport itself. And look at all those cute boys!
Try-Knights-300x450 Try Knights Gets Honey's Highlights!
Days is a perfect example of that, and this anime looks to me a lot like that one. Blonde talented guy befriending the awkward yet passionate rising star? I'm in!

I really enjoyed All Out!! so I'm obviously watching this anime too!

Synopsis

Riku Haruma has no clear future plans, but has just entered into high school. When he enters the school and looks over to the sports grounds, his eyes are immediately drawn to something running like a wild animal. It’s jumping higher than anyone else, running quickly, and deciding its try. The thing that Akira Kariya is doing, is the thing that Riku gave up on: rugby.

Before he realizes it, Riku is giving advice to Akira on how to run better. Through his words, Akira was able to perceive Riku’s passion for rugby. Due to the meeting of these two known as ‘tactics’ and ‘physical’, a new future is bestowed upon Riku.

‘My intuition is never wrong. I’m the man that you need.’
‘I’m going to put a leash on you, Akira Kariya!”
