Synopsis

Mameda is a tanuki who dreams of practicing her mischief on humans. Taking the form of a young girl, she makes for the city of Osaka, where she tries to trick a beautiful dark-haired woman, but fails spectacularly. The woman, a rakugo storyteller, scathingly tells Mameda to leave Osaka, but they say fortune favors those who...adopt a tanuki?
The curtain opens on a Taisho story that makes you smile!
