Synopsis
Uramichi Omota is the exercise leader and host for a children’s TV show called “Together with Mama.” He’s a very kind and nice young man, loved by many children. But behind that gentle smile he hides a very depressed and miserable personality.
Because of his unstable mental state, sometimes his true thoughts and opinions based on the reality of grown ups that he lives in come out, and the children are shocked...!
But adults still need to move forward. Even if they have no hopes or desires and even if they hate the society they live in, they move on...!
“I need to live up to the expectations put on me... for the show.”
This is a backwards story of life for all those good children who have now grown up.

Uramichi Omota: Hiroshi Kamiya
The Exercise Instructor in “Together with Mama!”, also known as “Uramichi Oniisan”. Thirty-one years old. Likes to smoke and drink. Good-looking with a muscular physique, he is kind to the children appearing on the show, but also has an unstable side from having his energy completely drained by the real world. He has a gloomy personality, often spouting abuse and negativity, and even exposes the children to the dark secrets of the adult world at times.
Tobikichi Usahara: Tomokazu Sugita
The performer inside the “Usao” costume. He is also the puppeteer for Mr. Kotori, who appears as Uramichi’s friend in the “Ask Uramichi” segment of the show. He is outgoing and nice, but is disliked by the female members of the staff. Likes pachinko and mahjong, and is always tight on money.
Mitsuo Kumatani: Yuichi Nakamura
The performer inside the “Kumao” costume. He is Uramichi’s junior from his sports university days, and had roomed with him in the same dormitory. He was fired from his previous workplace after punching his boss who had been harassing him.
Iketeru Daga: Mamoru Miyano
One of the Singing Instructors of “Together with Mama!”, also known as “Iketeru Oniisan”. Twenty-seven years old. A former musical theatre actor with a degree in music. Tall and handsome with a voice to match, he is in fact an airhead who cannot read the room to save his life. Likes low-level dirty jokes.
Utano Tadano: Nana Mizuki
One of the Singing Instructors of “Together with Mama!”, also known as “Utano Oneesan”. Although she had graduated from a prestigious music college, she had worked numerous jobs such as performing as a no-name pop idol, covering Enka singers, and singing jazz songs at a night club before coming to the show.
Hanbee Kikaku: Ryouhei Kimura
Works at MHK Enterprise’s sales planning department and develops goods. Used to be in a band. Has long hair and many piercings. He looks unstable, but he is serious when it comes to work.
Saito Uebu: Kenichi Suzumura
A young employee at MHK Enterprise digital planning department and a colleague of Hanbee. He has a cold aura and tends to avoid interaction with other workers. He is a weeb that loves anime, so he leaves work before everyone notices to watch anime on time.
Matahiko Nekota: Daisuke Ono
The manager of the bar "CAT KICK". Kouhai of Uramichi at the sports university and used to live in a dorm with Tobikichi and Mitsuo. He is calm and very friendly, but divorced twice. He is working hard to feed two children.
