What You Need to Know:
- Tokyo Otaku Mode is proud to be opening pre-orders for the ClariS 〜Single Best 1st〜 Vinyl Edition, an album of popular unit ClariS’s best hits, starting at 10:00 A.M. (JST) on November 16, 2018.
- The ClariS -Single Best 1st- Vinyl Edition is an analog record of ClariS’s best hits album, which went on sale in 2015. In addition to the fourteen songs listed on the CD version, the records come with two bonus tracks and are sold as a 12-inch, 2-disc set.
- The records are being distributed by the American entertainment company Sony Music Entertainment and will only be available for purchase in America and Canada. This project was created in response to the quickly growing anime marketplace in America, as evidenced by events such as Anime Expo 2018, America’s largest anime event which breaks its own record for highest number of participants each year. The records are a highly collectible medium that will deliver ClariS’s songs, many of which are from anime that are popular even outside of Japan, to listeners in North America.
- Also, a special ClariS booth will be exhibited at Anime NYC in November 2018, where convention participants can listen to the actual vinyl records. TOM will also be accepting pre-orders for the records there. In fact, everyone who pre-orders the records at Anime NYC will receive a special event-limited ClariS sticker as a present. We highly recommend pre-ordering at the event. Shipping is expected to take place in January 2019.
