What You Need to Know:
- While some people don't place much importance on birthdays we always feel nice being able to at least show some love, and show appreciation. Voices in Anime is the way that we show that love and today we have two very big birthdays to celebrate: Kousuke Toriumi and Asami Imai, who are two of the anime world's biggest seiyuu.
- Starting off with Kousuke Toriumi, who's known for playing famous character roles such as Kiba in NARUTO, Hajime Saitou in Hakuouki, Shunsuke Imaizumi in Yowamushi Pedal, among a plethora of others. His known hobbies are cooking, music, and singing.
- Next up we have the beautiful and talented Asami Imai, who's very well known for voicing character Kurisu Makise in Steins;Gate, Chihaya Kisaragi in THE IDOLM@STER, and much much more! Her known hobbies include forest walking, writing song lyrics, and massages. Even more surprising is she has a huge love for the Pokemon Slowpoke, and does her very best to collect as many Slowpoke merch that she can! What a passion! She made her debut in 1999 as a voice actress then took to the stage to do music in 2009 by releasing her first single titled "Day by Day / Shining Blue Rain" under the 5pb. record label.
- As you can see, these seiyuu just aren't talented in one area, they're multi-talented which is truly an amazing thing!
