- Without a voice, a character cannot be truly understood. It is like a vessel without a soul to guide it down the right path. In anime, the voice of a character means so much because that is what resonates most with the listener, and gives depth to the character overall. Nao Nagasawa has lended her voice to many iconic characters over the decades, such as Reiko from Detective Conan, Majorika from Motto! Ojamajo Doremi, along with Izuna from the classic Ushio to Tora.
- Today we celebrate her birthday by remembering her most notable works and sending her nothing buy good vibes in order to have a splendid day! Nagasawa-san was born today, May 12th, in Osaka and currently works for Kekke Corporation, a major company for seiyuu talent.
- She was also married to Ryotaro Okiayu who's best known for his roles as Maeda in the more recent Asobi Asobase, Byakuya Kuchiki from the iconic Bleach series, along with Subaru Okiya from Detective Conan. The two are now divorced but share a beautiful daughter together. Nagasawa-san continues to spread her love and joy to the anime world and we hope that her voice continues to shine in many ways.
