- Sometimes, in your heart, you just know what to do in life. You listen to that calling and before you know it, you're living out your wildest dreams. Nobutoshi Kanna, also known by his real name Nobutoshi Hayashi, is one of those legendary examples.
- While Nobutoshi Hayashi has voiced some very iconic voices over his triumphant career, there are a few that really stand out and truly exemplify just how incredible he is. His greatest work would definitely be Basara Nekki in "Macross 7". He often acts like an adolescence, from such an enthusiastic boy as Basara, then transition to a more calm and intelligent man like Nowaki in "Junjou Romantica", along with Kabuto Yakushi in "NARUTO." His versatility goes above and beyond, never showing any signs of slowing down.
- He currently organizes a special unit named "Fukujin" (福神）with Yoshiki Fukuyama (Basara's singing voice) after they met each other through acting the same character Basara.
- His biggest rivalry in the seiyuu world is Hikaru Midorikawa, as they share the same age & office place. They respect each other highly and help one another to brush up their own acting skills.
- Another fun fact is that his hobby is driving. He says that during his driving expeditions he often comes up with lyrics & melodies. A super happy birthday to you Nobutoshi Hayashi!
