Synopsis
A brief respite from the fierce battle against Ainsworth.
After Illya and the others rescue Miyu, the parallel world’s Shirou Emiya explains Miyu’s past and the Holy Grail War that took place in this world.
This is Miyu’s tragic fate and the story of her brother’s desperate battle to protect her.
Ainsworth wants to sacrifice Miyu for the sake of saving humanity.
Shirou is willing to turn his back on the world to save Miyu.
In the face of these two incompatible versions of justice, Illya vows to protect them all.
“I’ll help you! I’ll search for a way to save everyone!”
And so, the magical girls’ battle begins anew, to create a tomorrow where they can laugh with the people who mean the most to them...!
Characters & Voice Actors
Illyasviel von Einzbern: Mai Kadowaki
A girl in the fifth grade who makes a contract with Magical Ruby and becomes a magical girl. She wanders into Miyu’s world, a parallel world facing ruin. Illya vows to save both Miyu and her world, taking on the Ainsworths. At the end of the fierce battles, she is able to rescue Miyu, but she must confront Julian again, who wants the Holy Grail.
Miyu Edelfelt: Kaori Natsuka
Another magical girl who makes a contract with Magical Sapphire. Through collecting Class Cards and fighting blackened Heroic Spirits, she forms an irreplaceable bond with Illya. She comes from a parallel world and was born as the Child of God who can grant any wish. She is targeted by Ainsworth as a worthy vessel for the Holy Grail.
Chloe von Einzbern: Chiwa Saitou
Another Illya sealed inside Illya’s original self. This second Illya was powerful enough to harness the Archer Class Card and materialized her own body. She initially wants to kill the original Illya and take her place, but they end up becoming partners who have each other’s backs. She goes to great lengths in the parallel world to rescue Miyu.
Julian Ainsworth: Natsuki Hanae
A young boy who claims to be Darius’ son and the current head of the Ainsworth family. He used to be Shirou Emiya’s best friend, but they become enemies due to the circumstances surrounding Miyu. In order to fulfill the Ainsworth family’s ardent wish of saving humanity, he seeks out Miyu, who can become the Holy Grail. He obstinately closes himself off and won’t reveal his true intentions to anyone.
Erika Ainsworth: Sumire Morohoshi
Daughter of the Ainsworth family. She used to be a crybaby and a sweet little child, but after she was swallowed by mud that overflowed from a black box she opened, she became a completely different person—a young girl with an ice-cold gaze. Julian seems to be trying to get Erika to open something called “Pithos.”
Beatrice Flowerchild: Rie Kugimiya
A Doll who serves the Ainsworth family. She has a sadistic and fierce personality. It seems like she had a relationship with Julian in the past and is in love with him. She wields the Divine Construct Mjölnir, the hammer of the Thunder God Thor, capable of smashing everything in its path and firing off lightning attacks.
