What You Need to Know:
- In Japan, we have a popular term to use on social media which is "今日は何の日” which is translated into "What Day is Today? and it's used to celebrate specific events that took place on that particular day. This is quite similar to the western version of "Events that Happened on this Day", but in Japan, a lot of it focuses more on the otaku side of things. In this case, today marks the day that both Yondemasu yo, Azazel-san. and Hibike! Euphonium were released in Japan.
- Both shows took off in the spring, which is typically a popular season for anime fans, but also Japan in general due to the Cherry Blossoms that bloom at the beginning of the month. Yondemasu yo, Azazel-san. is more of a supernatural comedy while Hibike! Euphonium has become an iconic music anime around the world, due to KyoAni's brilliant animation.
- If you haven't had the chance to check out either of these great anime, now is the best time since we're all locked up inside our rooms due to the Coronavirus...Have fun!
I totally remember Azael-san! I laughed so hard!
Hibike! Euphonium will always be an instant classic!
