Norman…we were worried about you, Emma and Ray, but we were proven wrong thankfully. In chapter 128 of Yakusoku no Neverland, Emma finally launches at Norman for his plans of genocide against the demons. While she knows that there’s an absurd amount of unknown in her plans to try and reach the walls and make a new pact with the head honcho demon, Emma isn’t about to resort to killing innocents in the process. Norman tries to say this is the only path they have, but Emma continues her onslaught and tells Norman Ray and her know where the wall is despite it being known for being a one trip location. This entices Norman slightly, but he sticks by his guns and feels the only path to a future free of threats for them is by killing the demons and making sure those who exist will not pose them any threat. Emma then makes one final bold move by telling Norman he can indeed go with his plan if she doesn’t find the main demon first! Ray assures Norman that he will be with Emma and the three hug it out showing that they will part ways here but their friendship continues to last. While we are worried for Emma and Ray as they head to this dangerous location, we are happy that chapter 128 shows he is still there friend and still wishes for their happiness…no matter the risks/consequences. Honestly, we had no problems with this week’s chapter of Yakusoku no Neverland and only had positives we want to focus on.

Why You Should Read Yakusoku no Neverland (The Promised Neverland) Chapter 128

1. Friends Till the End!

Yakusoku no Neverland chapter 128 proved to us something we had been worried about since Norman’s return…had he changed? Norman has indeed matured and his actions are a bit darker than when he was as a younger lad, but one thing that clearly still reigns in his heart is the friendship he has for Emma and Ray. Emma clearly can’t convince Norman that his plan isn’t the right way to go, but he still worries about her own plan and worries that his actions need to be followed through for all of them to have a future free from the demon’s control. Will Norman consider halting his plans if Emma fails at her own? That part we think won’t change Norman but we can guarantee he will try to halt all possible actions till Emma and Ray return safely.

2. Emma and Ray’s Next Big Mission Coming Soon!?

You have to feel bad for Emma and Ray. They have survived so much hell and finally have found a nice place to rest/relax in only to realize they need to head out into the dangerous demon lands once more for their new plan. The path to our weird word demon ruler seems to be a one-way trip for almost all who go there so will Ray and Emma survive this new journey? Both of them have shown not only resilience to giving up despite the odds being stacked against them, but they have their intelligence to rely on when action needs to be taken! We can’t wait for this new mission and wonder if Emma and Ray can make the demon ruler really want to change his nearly thousand-year-old pact.

Final Thoughts

Honestly, we left out why you should skip Yakusoku no Neverland chapter 128 for the sheer reason that there was nothing wrong with this week’s chapter! Ray, Emma and Norman are parting ways once more to unleash their plans of action and while the reunion between them was short, we know this won’t be the end of the trio’s journey.
