Emma, Ray and Norman have finally rejoined the same side and we couldn’t be any happier! While Norman’s team isn’t too thrilled initially at their boss’ change of plans, they realize that he’s been suffering all this time to help them. Norman even lied to his team that he wasn’t experimented on so they wouldn’t worry about the possible side-effects many of them have. Emma and Ray realize that one person of Norman’s team—despite undergoing experiments—wasn’t showing the same signs he was and that would be the large Adam! With the realization that Adam might have blood that could cure those who are suffering, our newly minted team decides to find Adam. However, our 154th chapter of Yakusoku no Neverland doesn’t end on a peaceful note. The Queen reappears behind Norman and we’re left to wonder if she will strike a deadly blow on our smart boy! Yakusoku no Neverland 154 was quite a chapter with rekindling of friendships and even new kids to add to the team. Unfortunately, we now are left to wonder what Norman’s fate will be if The Queen really does deal a blow against him! We have to wait several more days but till then, let’s discuss why you absolutely need to ready chapter 154 of Yakusoku no Neverland!

1. Norman’s Kindness

Yes, Norman did perform a deadly attack to kill off the cruel demons in the world and possibly could have gone further if not for the intervention of Ray and Emma. We learn though that Norman wasn’t just doing this for himself but for those who hated the demons and wanted justice served. Norman even lied about his illness to make sure they wouldn’t see him in a weaker light and let him shoulder the burdens they were about to take. Norman…you’re truly a kind kid.

2. Queen is Back!?

Say it isn’t so, folks! It looks like from the final panel that the Queen isn’t dead as we thought! With her return we have to wonder if she will hurt Norman or if someone will sacrifice themselves for him! What a cliffhanger, but it made chapter 154 so much more exciting for that final panel!

Final Thoughts

Chapter 154 of Yakusoku no Neverland should have been a tearful return of our original team and a bright future ahead of them. They had a plan and knew it could save Norman and save those affected.
