What You Need to Know:

  • It's the end of the round, and you've taken a beating by Chun-Li, with her standing over your corpse screaming 'Yatta!', celebrating with her cheerful peace sign. This is the iconic pose that has won over the hearts of many Street Fighter fans around the world, and just this past weekend the Spinning Bird Kicker threw up another peace sign to celebrate her 52nd birthday.
  • As a huge Street Fighter fan since SFII Turbo back in the early 90's, I've always had a strong fondness for Chun-Li, as her strong willpower and ability to overcome adversity was something to admire. Now at 52, she still continues to top the charts as one of the gaming worlds most popular female characters, doing so with style and finesse. You'll likely see a plethora of Chun-Li cosplay at events because well, that's just how damn sexy Chun-Li is!
  • In Street Fighter V, Chun-Li has gone through a multitude of changes which have ultimately led her to falling down on the tier lists, however no one should sleep on this femme fatalle because in the right hands, she's a force to be reckoned with! We can only pray that for Street Fighter VI (Tentative title) that we'll continue to see Chun-Li kick ass and take names as she rightfully should. Until then, HAPPY BIRTHDAY Chun-Li!
