Synopsis
Oudou Yuga, a 5th-grader at Gouha 7th Elementary, calls his own inventions "Roads" and opens many roads for himself every day. He disliked the cramped Duels controlled by adults and created his own new rule in which everyone can enjoy Duels.
One day, Luke from the class next-door tells Yuga about the rumors of the "King of Duels." Yuga and Luke look into the rumors and meets a mysterious person standing in front of a meaningful monument.

A 5th-grader at Gouha 7th Elementary who loves Dueling and inventing. He calls his own inventions "Roads." He dreams of amusing the world with his new rules unlike the cramped Duels controlled by adults. His ace monster is "Sevens Road Magician."
Luke / Tatsuhisa Kamijou: Taku Yashiro
A student from the next-door class of Yuga's, who calls himself the "No.1 Duelist of Gouha 7th Elementary." He looks into the rumors of the "King of Duels" and finds out about Yuga during his search for becoming king. He somehow manages to destroy mechanical equipment around him. His ace monster is "Rush Dragon Dragears."
Gakuto Sougetsu: Natsuki Hanae
A 6th-grader who is the president of the student council of Gouha 7th Elementary. He's earnest and keeps his reputation of never being absent nor even late for school. As the successor of "Sougetsu-ryu," he believes with no doubt of the justness of the ongoing Duels.
Kirishima Lomin: Tomori Kusunoki
Yuga's classmate. She has great grades, excels in sports, and is the popular guitarist of the elementary school band "Roar Lomin." A mysterious girl that constantly appears in front of Yuga and his friends, though saying she has no interest in Duels.
