What You Need to Know:
- It has been revealed that super-popular seiyuu-singer Yukari Tamura, known as Yukarin to her fans, will be leaving her agency King Records on March 20.
- Yukarin's most famous anime roles include Rika Furude from Higurashi no Naku Koro ni, Ringo Kinoshita from Nourin, Nui Harime from Kill la Kill, and Mai Kawasumi from Kanon.
- Her winter 2016 live tour has been cancelled, and her 17-year-long running radio series will come to an end on March 26. Her official Twitter account will also be shut down, and her official fan club Mellow Pretty will change hands.
- In a post on her personal blog, Yukarin expressed her deep gratitude to her fans, King Records, and her producer. She also gave readers hope by saying that her contract coming to an end doesn't mean that she will quit singing.
