- Today it has come to light that popular novelist Yuusuke Yamada's novel "Boku wa Robot goshi no Kimi ni Koi wo Suru" will be receiving an anime movie adaptation. Yamada previously penned titles like "Real Onigokko", "Puzzle", and "Door D" among others. The novel was released in October of last year and has already sold over 170,000 copies domestically.
- Boku wa Robot goshi no Kimi ni Koi wo Suru is set over 40 years into the future where a humanoid robot project has been secretly developed in preparation for the third Olympics to be hosted by Tokyo. Takeru, a project member, works feverently to protect both his childhood friend and colleague Youichirou and Youichirou's younger sister Saki. One day, a letter forewarning a terrorist attack on Saki's workplace is delivered. In order to establish a motive, researchers are driven into madness running wild with theories. At the end of the day, can Takeru both stop the terrorists as well as protect Saki whom he cares about?
