What You Need to Know:
- A few months ago, it was revealed that Zaregoto Series, a series of novels from the author of the Monogatari Series, would be getting an anime adaptation.
- According to Japanese netizens, the commercial video for the second Kizumonogatari movie has stated that it will be an OVA and will go on sale on 26 October 2016.
- As usual, Shaft is the studio behind the animation. Apparently Yuki Kaji is playing Ii-chan and Ao Yuuki is playing Tomo. However, the official website is yet to confirm anything.
Reactions Around the Web
Kaji? Seriously? He so doesn't suit the character...
Shaft AGAIN? Come on, enough with Shaft...
At least if it's an OVA we don't have to worry about the quality
We also won't have to worry about them censoring out all the gore.
So it wasn't a series! Seems like Japanese fans at least are happy it's an OVA!
I haven't read the original novels, but is Kaji-kun really that unsuitable for the role? Or are people complaining just because he's in a lot of anime at the moment?
